The Amazing New Bernian Race is an adventure competition based on the CBS reality show, The Amazing Race. Participants (teams of 2 people) race around downtown New Bern, tasked to deduce clues, navigate themselves from one to another, and perform mental challenges that will highlight aspects of New Bern’s culture, history, and amenities. Over the course of the race participants will travel on foot from one location to the next. Each location will have a clue and sometimes a task that teams will have to find and complete. Upon successful completion, teams will receive a “Completion Flag” and a clue card that will allow them to move onto the next location.
