The city manages trees on public
property including the street rights of ways, parks,
greenways and 
other city owned or controlled property.
The Parks
and Grounds Division is part of the Parks and Recreation
Department. We have proudly
made the City of New Bern a Tree City USA for 20 consecutive years. Below are
